Ghosts of Georgia Investigation report
On January 24, 2015, GOGPI investigated claims of paranormal activity at a private residence in Marietta, GA. The activity reported at the residence is as follows: Voices and apparitions appearing to the client’s children, orbs, mist like formations, washing machine and t.v. turning on by itself, footsteps, feelings of being watched, being touched and scratched.

Condition of the home:
The home was in good condition, all utilities were in good working condition, outside doors and windows were in good shape with little to no noise or drafts coming from the outside.

Findings:
GOGPI was called in to investigate the above claims of activity. . Base reading in the house were within normal limits, temperature normal for conditions, EMF were within normal reading, except around the electrical equipment and electrical panels where they were higher, as expected.
We did not get anything in our pictures or video. We did record several EVP’s. The investigators had some personal experiences, see below.
With the claims of activity, personal experience by the investigator, the EVP’s that were recorded we feel like there is paranormal activity in the house. We feel that the activity is not harmful for the home or the client and family. We cannot say the house is haunted without a follow up investigation to see if we can reproduce the claims of activity, personal experiences, and to gather more evidence of paranormal activity.

I saw a green light near the top of the wall in the den, it was in a rectangle shape. I also got the jittery feeling, like a sugar rush, while interviewing the client in the kitchen before we started the investigation but not sure if it was paranormal but it happened in the past when I came in contact with energy fields before. It went away quickly.

While taking base readings in the living room, got a spike of 0.6 in the chair which was 0.0 when I took another reading
While at base me and the client heard 4 knocks in the kitchen with us, the Knocks came after we heard Ed, and Gretchen ask for the Knocks in another room.

Personal Experiences…
1. The MEL meter read a .6 on walk through baseline meter readings over the chair in the Living room. upon re-metering it after checking wall behind the fridge, the chair no longer read .6. It was at 0.0. Larry and I could not recreate it. Later in the evening Ed and I could not create it.
2. The client and I both saw the light flicker in the dining room off the kitchen and the client said it also flickered in the Living room before the flicker in the dining room, I was not at an angle to see the living room. 3. We also both heard a bang in the living room that I thought was Larry but he had not left the kitchen yet.
4. In the man cave, I heard a man say “Thank you” in my ear. Ed said it was not him. I was actually taking pictures into the Den from the Man cave. the voice came from behind me.
5. The ceiling fans were all turned off but the one in the computer room was on, when Larry I went in to do base readings.
6. I saw a shadow I couldn’t explain in the den that blocked out the light on the floor from the back doors. I also noticed a manila folder colored streak in the den near the coffee table, it was dull, not bright.
7. Had extensive flashlight conversation with someone who felt very male to me in daughter’s closet. The flashlight was even shook afterwards to ensure it was not a vibration movement in the home, the flashlight was set up extensively in the home on sweeps, and this was the only time it came on. I found it to be indicative of communication.
8. Saw a Green light in the computer room to the right near closet doors, it was a bar of green light.
Sensitive reading:- Upon entering the home I felt some pretty active energy. Some of this might have been live energy as mom and son seemed to have strong personalities. Mom was also really worried about our safety and seemed to be highly moved by experiences and events prior to us arriving. Per client stories, appears to be a lot of activity in the home. I believe their encounters are real. I also feel they are nervous in the home and may increase energy or activity and their fear level.
I felt like five rooms especially felt energetically charged that night. The computer room downstairs upon me first entering it. The dining room off the kitchen, the chair in the living room, and daughter’s room specifically the closet. This energy was transient and not fixed.
I got two main names on entering the house, Jonathan and Marie (maria or Mary). I do feel like there is a soldier here, and he feels safe in the home, whether he is the Jonathan or not is unclear to me. He is young, possible 1960s dress, and I do not think he realizes he has passed. Maria (Mary or Marie) feels like family to me.
I do not feel afraid in the home. It was actually quite quiet for the investigation. It does feel energetic in places but even that energy came and went during our investigation. The energy in the closet that night seemed a bit stubborn, but cooperative and was not there later in the night when Ed and I returned.
As far as some of the gruffer EVPs caught by the client prior to us arriving, we never really know truly who they are talking to and how hard it is for them to speak. Gruffer voice doesn’t equal bad.
I do feel like mom and kids have psychic ability and they may appear to spirits in the home as lighthouses do to boats at night on the sea. I also believe that autistic persons vibrate at a higher level than most energetically.
