Ghosts of Georgia Investigation report
On August 29, 2015, GOGPI investigated claims of paranormal activity at a private residence in Macon, GA. The activity reported at the residence is as follows: Voices, growling, odd noises/ knocking, footsteps, hair being pulled, people being pushed, odd smells, black figures. Hear knocking, scratching from walls and clapping from empty rooms, cracking sound of pool balls on the break, pool balls coming out of the pockets, full bodied apparitions of a man and woman.

Findings:
GOGPI was called in to investigate the above claims of activity. Base reading in the house were within normal limits, temperature normal for conditions, EMF were within normal reading, except around the electrical equipment and electrical panels where they were higher, as expected.
We did not get anything in our pictures or on video. We did record several EVP’s. The investigators had some personal experiences, some of the experiences were the same as some of the claims of activity, see below.
With the claims of activity, personal experience by the investigator, the EVP’s that were recorded we feel like there is paranormal activity in the house. We feel that the activity is not harmful for the home or the client and her family. We cannot say the house is haunted without a follow up investigation to see if we can reproduce the claims of activity, personal experiences, and to gather more evidence of paranormal activity.

Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation:
Ed: While in the carport near base, I heard a noise or could have been a voice coming from inside the house near the door. No one was near the door inside or outside the house. Also while standing behind Chris at base, I heard a noise that sounded like someone’s stomach but everyone said their stomach didn’t make any sound, Chris heard it too.
Larry: After setting up, Chris and I heard some tapping coming from downstairs. Went downstairs and the Rempod staring going off in the first bedroom. While doing our first sweep Chris and I were in the bedroom in basement next to stairs, we heard what sounded like footsteps upstairs above our heads. Also, my recorder stopped in the first few minutes of the first sweep for no reason. While investigating in the Living room (refrigerator room), I saw a blue light in the living room above the TV. During the investigation, both recorders only got 10 Min of audio. My recorder kept turning Off, and battery was draining. After the investigation, I went home and did some experimenting with my recorder to debunk the activity on my recorders. I ran the recorder at home and it never shut off.
Jill: I saw a shadow figure out of the corner of my eye near the opening to the garage next to the driveway. I also saw a rod-like shadow in the master bedroom. It felt like a cold breeze passed between Beth and myself in the master bedroom and my camera wouldn’t stay on longer than 5 seconds, too. In the big bedroom downstairs, I felt a slight pressure on my elbow after Beth said the spirit(s) could touch her.
Chris: I went and used the rest room down stairs. When leaving the bathroom, I turned to come up the hall, and all the way up through the hall, I felt as if something was right behind me. When I got to the step I heard like footsteps. I asked Ed where he was, he was in the kitchen. Then Larry and I heard something that sounded like tapping coming from down stairs, we went down stairs and the rempod in the first bedroom started going off. While on our first sweep in the bottom last bedroom Larry and I heard something like footsteps above us. Then in the Living room (refridgerater room), I saw a what I think was a shadow figure go across in front of the TV in the pool table room. Then I saw a blue light in the pool table room, above the window.
Christie: I saw a small white light on the wall in the master bedroom by where our camera was set up.
Beth: I heard feet sounds in the dusty, gravel like driveway outside the garage. It came from behind Ed’s truck when I went to get something out of my purse in the truck. Nobody was in the driveway or near me. I stayed in the driveway for a while taking meter readings and looking for anyone or animal that could have walked by. It sounded like human feet. I saw several dark shadows in the home (Living room, Master bedroom, bedrooms downstairs and back bedroom upstairs). Some shadows were small and rod shaped, but dark in color. One shadow I saw was shaped like a bird of some sort in the door frame above the stairs. I actually heard what sounded like a wing flap. I did not find any sources for the shadows. I also felt a cold breeze pass between Jill and I in the Master bedroom. Jill and I had two flashlight, Mel Meter, and EVP sessions where we felt we had intelligent communication with spirit. In one session we were told through a series of yes and no questions with the flashlight that the spirit did know the client’s grandfather, but it was not him. We were also told that it was ok for them to all to stay in the home and that they were all safe. The spirit communicated that “he” wanted them to keep the home.
Beth’s Sensitive Reading: When I arrived to the residence, I did a “sensitive walk through” of the home. I noted that all energy that we needed to investigate seemed to be all on one side of the home. The energy literally seemed to divide the home down the middle. I later found out the client had already discussed this with some of our team. Apparently I had noted the same locations where the cameras needed to be placed as well. This served as an energetic confirmation. After the investigation, the home felt energetically great. The family living in the home feels like they are in a safe place. I did not pick up on anything negative or evil in the home. All spirit activity felt like family. Not all family may not be recognized, but it felt related to each other in some way. The female client seems to be a light for communication and spirit may be attracted to her energy.
