On November 5, 2016, GOGPI investigated claims of paranormal activity at a private residence in Gainesville, GA. The activity reported at the home is as follows: Hearing voices, seeing shadow people, foul odor, vibrations under the clients feet.

Cameras: Two Canon Rebel digital cameras, Samsung digital camera, Fuji S602 digital camera, Tasco infrared trail camera, iPhone 5S Camera/Video, numerous IR Video Cameras connected to a J2000 DVR. Nikon Coolpix L28 Full Spectrum digital camera, Bell & Howell IR Camcorder, JVC Everio Camcorder, T700 Full spectrum Camcorder, DDV-2200 full spectrum video camcorder, Insignia full spectrum HD camera/video recorder, MagiCam Mini Camcorder, FLIR Bcam w/SD, set of full spectrum POV glasses.

EMF Meters: Electro Sensor EMF Meter, Cell Sensor, Digital EMF Detectors, Mel-8704R-KII, Mel-8704-R, several K-II Meters.
Audio Recorders: Sony P210 digital voice recorder, 2- Sony digital recorders, Olympus D-10 digital voice recorder, RCA digital recorder Olympus VN-4100PC. Spion Parabolic Dish.
Thermometers: Cen-Tech mini non-contact infrared digital thermometer and an Omega HH68K ambient thermometer. Mel-8704R-KII has ambient thermometer included.
Other: 2-P-SB7 frequency sweep radio( spirit box ), P-SB11 spirit box, Spirit voice receiver, Boo Buddy Bear, Laser Grid, Compaq Presario Laptop, Dell Laptop, Ovilus M, Altec speaker, 2- Rem Pods, various flashlights.
Condition of the home:
The house was built in 1975 and is structurally sound and in good condition. All utilities are in good working order. The windows are older and could be subject to drafts and noises coming in from the outside.

Findings:
GOGPI was called in to investigate the above claims of activity. Base reading in the house were within normal limits, temperature normal for conditions, EMF were within normal reading, except around the electrical equipment and electrical panels where they were higher, as expected.
We did not get anything in our pictures or video. We did record several EVP’s. The investigators had a personal experiences, see below. We cannot say the experience was paranormal as one of the investigators passed by the artificial plant in the basket about 30 to 60 seconds before it fell. It could have snagged on the investigators clothing and was pulled off balance then fell a few seconds later.
We did record some EVP’s but nothing malicious and unfortunately nothing to help find out who may be there if anyone.
The investigators felt the home was comfortable inside and outside the house. While we were there we did not find any evidence of the home and property being haunted. From a paranormal perspective it was very quiet.

| · Established as “Mule Camp Springs” near the crossing of two Indian trails followed by settlers in the 1800s
· 1849 – Gainesville established as a resort center · 1851 – Fire destroyed much of Gainesville · January 1, 1903 – A cyclone struck Gainesville leaving 106 people dead, 300 injured · The 1936 Tupelo–Gainesville tornado outbreak was an outbreak of at least 12 tornadoes that struck the Southeastern United States from April 5–6, 1936.The Storm reached Gainesville, Georgia, at around 8:30 a.m. It was a double tornado event: one tornado moved in from the Atlanta highway, while the other moved in from the Dawsonville highway. The two merged and destroyed everything in sight throughout the downtown area, causing wreckage to pile 10 feet high in some places. In addition to the complete destruction that occurred throughout downtown Gainesville, residential areas throughout the city were devastated as well, where 750 homes were destroyed, and 254 others were badly damaged. The final death toll could not be calculated because many of the buildings that were hit collapsed and caught fire. A death toll of 203 persons was posted, though at the time 40 people were yet missing. |
