Findings:
We would like to thank Ben Baker for his hospitality and assistance with the investigation!
GOGPI went to the Crime and Punishment Museum ( the Old Jail) in Ashburn Ga. to investigate claims of paranormal activity. Base reading in the museum were within normal limits, temperature normal for conditions, EMF were within normal reading, except around the electrical equipment and electrical panels where they were higher, as expected.
We did not capture anything in our pictures or video but did record numerous EVP’s from the location. We did have some personal experiences, see below.
With all the stories of activity from many different people, our EVP’s, and personal experiences from the investigators we feel that the Museum has paranormal activity and is haunted. We do not feel that anything negative is there but spirits from the past willing to communicate with the living. This was our second investigation at this location and we were not disappointed. We recommend that if you get a chance to go to the museum either for an investigation or just to go through the museum please do so, it is a very interesting place!

Personal Experience summaries from investigators on the investigation:
Ed
While in the basement I heard noises above us on the main floor of the jail sounded like someone moving around and sliding something on the floor, no one was moving around.
While in the death row section I heard several disembodied voices and what sounded like cloth rubbing against itself, no one there was moving at the time. Also witnessed a flashlight communication.
Larry
My only personal experience was while we were in the cells upstairs before setting up heard a whistle , everyone upstairs said they did not whistle.
Chris
When Christie , Gretchen, and Ed were investigating in the parlor and I was at base I heard something that sounded like a child’s giggle, I marked it on the voice recorder and was able to find it during review.
Gretchen
Experienced the exact same things as Ed. I also believe there was possible flashlight communication in the woman’s section. I also heard two whistles upstairs while setting up. Felt unnerved in the basement on our second sweep like we were not well received there. I smelled cigarette smoke in the general population area. I also got the name “Shaggy” come to mind when I asked for a nickname on EVP.
