Ed is a retired Firefighter/Paramedic of thirty years. After he retired he still wanted to be able to help people and at the same time be able to use his knowledge, experience, and skills. He discovered that there were dedicated people and groups who were investigating for and researching the paranormal. That’s when he decided to do paranormal research and investigate the claims of ghosts and spirits. He found that he could put his thirty years of investigative training and experience to good use. He also found that his interest in history and architecture were met in this field of study.
He has dedicated himself to helping people ease their fears by finding out what is causing the activity people are experience, whether it be caused by natural causes or paranormal ones.
Beth, Assistant Director/Psychic Medium: was born in Jacksonville Florida and raised in Stone Mountain Georgia. She is the mother to 5 beautiful children and a full time employee of GCPS as an Administrative Assistant at her local school. She continues to grow and learn during her spiritual journey in life, exploring her psychic abilities as a psychic reader and medium, using her intuition and Empathic skills. Beth is a graduate of “The Anastasi System of Psychic Development,” receiving certificates for Psychic Development, Mediumship, and Channeling.
Beth began investigating her psychic abilities and the paranormal after a long journey of visions and psychic dreams. As a result Beth became interested in life beyond the earthly death. Her goal is to inspire others through her passion for life, satisfy curiosity and ease fears of the unknown.
Beth enjoys Ghost Hunting and investigating the paranormal with her team Ghosts of Georgia Paranormal Investigators. During her spare time, she is an accomplished artist, dancer and actress in both Community Theater and film.
Brian was born and raised in San Diego, CA but moved to Georgia seven years ago with his wife Karen and their four daughters. Brian is a former Marine and received high technical training in the service as well as from two colleges. He loves to use technology to help people and better understand the paranormal. His interest in the paranormal started when he was young. The house at the end of his street was known for being haunted and very early on tried to explain what was being seen and heard. Even though he never found the answers, he has spent his life trying to understand what more is out there and how to relate it to our lives.
Throughout the years, he has experienced several unusual events including voices, electronic failures, and unexplainable movement of objects. Brian is at heart a skeptic. He searches for data to support the experience. He does believe there are things out there that defy explanation. When you have eliminated the possible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
Christie lives in Franklin, GA with her husband Chris where they are raising their two children. She is currently employed at a local fire and water restoration company. Her interest in the paranormal world started at a young age when she would hear her family and friends talking about local ghost stories. Being a paranormal investigator allows her the opportunity to meet people that share her interests in the paranormal world as well as help our clients when they are in need.
Chris was born and raised in LaGrange, Georgia. He has provided more than 20 years public service while working with the Government. He currently resides in Franklin, Georgia where he and his wife (of over 20 years) Christie are raising their son and daughter. Although he is a skeptic he also knows that there are things in the world that we just can’t explain. Working with the Ghosts of Georgia Paranormal team provides him the opportunity to help people and to work with (in his opinion) the best paranormal team in Georgia.
Larry was born and raised in Illinois but moved to Georgia shortly after marrying his wife Melinda. He has been married for almost 20 years and has a handsome son Britt and a beautiful daughter Ashlyn. Larry is a veteran of the United States Navy. His interest in the paranormal started when he was young. The house he lived in had a few strange things happen. And then in the Navy he experienced an unusual event while traveling through the Bermuda Triangle. Larry feels that 99% of all things can be explained but it’s that 1% that he is really interested in.
Melinda was born in Atlanta Ga, but spent most of her life in Covington, Ga. She married Larry in March of 1991. Melinda and Larry have a Son Gary, a Daughter Ashlyn, and a handsome Grandson named Brantley who will be 5 in May 2017. Melinda worked as a day care teacher for 16 years. Melinda has been a part of the Ghosts of Georgia for many years. She would help with reviewing Evidence whether it was audio or video. Melinda has also participated in a few preliminary investigations. Melinda just recently started to join the team on investigations. Melinda is a firm believer in the paranormal, but also believes that not everything that is experienced is paranormal.
Shannon lives in North Georgia with her husband Brad and two children. Shannon currently works in the law enforcement field. Outside of work, Shannon’s experiences have led her to acknowledge that all things cannot be explained.
She became interested in the paranormal after experiencing the death of loved ones as a little girl. Questions regarding the afterlife fueled her desire to learn more. She has a deep love for animals and believes that they have supersensory abilities to detect paranormal activity. When the Ghost of Georgia team conducted an investigation in a nearby town, Shannon reached out to the team excited to see how she could become a member. Becoming a paranormal investigator afforded her the opportunity to answer some of those questions, work with individuals that share her interests and to assist people who have unanswered questions as well.
